Life can be shit. Love can be shit. Whatever has happened to you, whatever will happen to you, whatever might happen to you, whatever hasn't happened to you, well . . . you're not alone. Andre Jordan's drawings and prose are culled from a life of heartache and unrequited love. Simple, sad, clever, and darkly hilarious, they tell of both dismal places and hopeful realizations.

Awesomely awesome book!
It is one of the funniest yet sober books I've ever bought. Light and funny and.. easy to digest it takes you through heartache, depression, loneliness and low self-esteem. I recommend it to anyone and everyone that's ever been dumped, had dumped someone else, hasn't done it yet, has done it way too many times, or is pondering starting to do it!
A collection of Very Few Negative Words, Witty Drawings, and Some Rather Grim Thoughts
If you are a person who believes the glass to always be half full, then "Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now" is NOT the book for you to read. Andrea Jordan has composed a collection of very few negative (but in a funny sort of way) words, witty drawings, and some rather grim thoughts. The book also contains several curse words, so it would not be the book to buy for your child or pastor.
"Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now" is a black and white book that, if uninterrupted, an avid reader could read in less than an hour. I did find most of the book very entertaining, but it takes a certain personality to find the humor in "Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now." Jordan is an artist, daydreamer, and a writer. He has a regular column on the BBC disability website, "Ouch!," and his own blog. Many of his writings and drawings deal with his struggle with depression.

LOL Book about Misery
I have to admit that when I peeked inside this book in the bookstore, I laughed so hard I wet my pants. If you are a person who enjoys black humor about dysfunctional and/or failed relationships, you'll love this book. The illustrations and reflections on a life of misery make Andre Jordan's book a must-read for all of us who have found ourselves in some of these horrid situations. If you find these topics too painful, my advice is to stay far, far away...
