Editorial Reviews
From School Library Journal
PreSchool-Grade 3. This Spanish version of a perennial favorite is very simple and enjoyable to read. The impish badger Frances is feeling neglected ever since her sister Gloria was born. She sits under the sink or kitchen table and sings little songs to gain attention. Her parents convince her that being a big sister has its advantages and let her know that even though they think babies are wonderful, they would not feel like a real family without her. Older siblings will relate to Frances's feelings. The outstanding watercolor illustrations are bright and expressive, conveying the story's many emotions to a tee.?Diane Tureski, NYPL
