Jane Feldman is a professional photographer whose striking work has gained international attention in the field of advertising and among nonprofit organizations that promote youth empowerment. She is also the coauthor and photographer of Jeffersons Children: The Story of One American Family, an ALA Best Book for Young Adults. The author lives in New York City and the Berkshire Mountains.

We love this book!
My daughter, 3, loves this book. I wish there were more books like this. Books about real kids doing normal things that use photographs of kids instead of animal characters. My daughter really relates to the photos and situations in the book. Good for any little girl who is interested in ballet!

My 4 year old daughter's favority book!
My daughter is a "girly-girl" who loves ballet! We found this book over the summer. It was great preparing her to start ballet lessons in the fall. The book is about a little girl who loves ballet. It shows her in ballet class, shopping for ballet shoes, reading bedtime fairy tales with her mommy, and then preparing for her recital. The photos are up to date and really make the book. Any little girl would love this story!

I bought this for my 3 yr old who just started ballet. I bought on the recommendations of other Amazon buyers and I agree; it is a great book for you child.
