A thrilling new book in the Jedi Apprentice series.
Obi-Wan Kenobi, with the help of another apprentice, Siri, and her Jedi master, Adi Gallia, has freed Qui-Gon Jinn from the grasp of Jenna Zan Arbor. But the twisted, evil scientist still holds one Jedi captive, the elderly, ailing Jedi master Noor R'aya. Obi-Wan, Siri, and their masters are desperate to free Noor R'aya and capture Zan Arbor before she can do any more harm. But Zan Arbor has inflicted a terrible bacterial disease on a helpless planet, and only she holds the cure - and demands an outrageous price for it. Meanwhile, Astri has undertaken a dangerous quest for vengeance. As her father lies recovering from a poison that nearly killed him, Astri is determined to avenge his near-death at the hands of the bounty hunter Ona Nobis. Obi-Wan and Siri know the girl is not nearly strong enough to defeat a bounty hunter that was strong enough to defeat a Jedi. But Ona Nobis is on her own quest for vengeance. For now she has her own personal vendetta against Obi-Wan. And even the combined strength of four Jedi may not be enough to defeat her. This was a thrilling addition to the Jedi Apprentice series. I reccomend this book to all Star Wars fans.
Awesome!!
This book is the best in the whole series. Saving Qui-Gon was hard for them. The missions always have a problem and in the littlest detail they could be solved. I especially like the books where Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon are teamed up with anouther jedi team. In this book they were teamed up with Jedi Master Adi Galla and Padawan Siri who is not as expereanced as Obi-Wan, but is very loyal. There challange was against Jenna Zan Arbor, bounty hunter Ona Norbis and Senator S'orn. If you have not read the previous Jedi Apprentice books this story will mean absolutely nothing. This book is the best. If you like my review, Please vote YES below.
Old friends return to stop an evil scientist for good.
Obi-Wan Kenobi is once again teamed up with Siri and her master, Adi Gallia, in order to rescue his master, Qui-Gon Jinn, from Jenna Zan Arbor, an evil mastermind. But even after they rescue him they still have to find an elderly Jedi who was captured months before Qui-Gon, and they want to get Zan Arbor before she does any more harm. But they are too late because Jenna Zan Arbor has already managed to contaminate the water supply of a planet, causing many children and elders to get sick. Zan Arbor is the only one with the cure and she demands a high price. Also, the bounty hunter from The Deadly Hunter has returned once again and has it in for Obi-Wan. But even though Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon have Siri and Adi's help it might not be enough. This book brought a thrilling conclusion to this story arc and I can't wait for the next one, if Jude keeps writing like this I know they'll be great.
