Customer Reviews
A review of the Deltora Book of Monsters
This book is excellent if you enjoy Deltora Quest and Deltora Shadowlands. It gives information on many of the creatures mentioned in the books, so that you can have a better visual of the book. It is useful to keep around as you read the books, so that you can pick it up and read about monsters from the book. You can also see a picture, so it is much easier to visualize the book as you read.
The best book I've ever seen
(...) (a very well read (...): I love the illustrations. They are awesome. They tell you about all of the monsters in the Deltora books. This is an awesome book!
The Deltoran Field Guide
Whenever you're reading a Deltora Quest book with it's somewhat vague description of its monsters don't you wish you just had a picture there so you'd know what Emily Rodda was getting at? If so this book is the answer. Rather than just give a page dedicated to what the monster does and a vague description it also gives you a picture so you know what the monster looks like from the perspective of the fussy palace librarian Josef. Plus as an added bonus it features two monsters to be featured in THE DRAGONS OF DELTORA BOOK # 3 THE ISLE OF THE DEAD. And be on the lookout for a new book similar to this called THE TALES OF DELTORA which Emily Rodda hints to in THE DRAGONS OF DELTORA # 1 THE DRAGON'S NEST. PS. That monster on the title page is the Wennbar.
