Evil Lord Sparr has collected all Three Powers, something he has been trying to do since the very first DROON adventure. Armed with the Coiled Viper, the Red Eye of Dawn, and the Golden Wasp, Sparr is ready to journey to the Isle of Mists - an eerie place of fog and darkness. Eric, Keeah, and the others are hot on his trail. But they are worried. The Isle of Mists is where Sparr's stepfather, Emperor Ko, mysteriously disappeared. Some even say that the evil ruler is still alive there.Sparr plus the Three Powers plus Emperor Ko? For Eric and his friends, that's not a good equation....

Customer Reviews
One of my favorites so far
Lord Sparr has finally done it. He finally collected the Three Powers of Droon, the Coiled Viper, the Red Eye of Dawn, and the Golden Wasp. Droon could not be in a worse situation. With the Three Powers, Lord Sparr is headed toward the Isle of Mists, a strange eerie island where he is trying to do a magic trick which will spell doom for all of Droon. Not to mention the fact that Sparr's evil stepfather Emperor Ko, who disappeared on the Isle of Mists, could still be alive and well on this island. This spells big trouble for Eric and the gang. Can they somehow outmuster Lord Sparr and save Droon?
This was one of my favorites in the series. Definitely quite entertaining with a few revelations. I definitely recommend parent to get their young children into this series. Its a great hook for young children and I agree a step up from The Magic Treehouse series.
Great step up...
This series is a great step up from the Magic Treehouse series. I'd have to rate any book a "5" that engages my 2 boys. This series has fostered a true love of reading in my children. They anxiously have awaited each new release-starting grade two....and the oldest is now a 4th grader who still enjoys each of Tony Abbott's Droon series books as they become avail. It's been tougher to find books my boys loved vs my daughter. But Abbott's series is a definate winner with the boys in our house!
Pretty good
The whole series i think was pretty good. It was kind of a copy of Harry Potter though. the v shape scarr on sparrs head like the lightning bolt shape scarr on harry's head. and how eric has to wear glasses that look just like harry's and his hair is the same color and there are three friends. 2 boys and 1 girl. But harry potter is a copy itself though so i guess its okay. If you wondering what its a copy of its a copy of Larry Potter.
