Piraka History 101
The fourth installment of the Bionicles Legend book takes us a step back... like 5,000 years back. Rather than carry on with the cliffhanger we were left with at the end of book 3, this book focuses on the history of the Piraka, the Dark Hunters, and the Brotherhood of Makuta. For those of us "invested" in the Bionicles, it was very interesting to learn more about not just the five Piraka and how they came to the island, but to finally get some back story on the Dark Hunters, Brotherhood, and Toa that have appeared in the other series (and of course, have been sold by Lego). It is fascinating how it all weaves together AND some familiar characters make brief appearences (I even got goosebumps, and I'm too old for that stuff).
My son (8yrs old bionicle freak) and I agree that this was a great book. Don't skip it just because it gets in to the history... that's part of why it is so great from the bionicle fan perspective.
Now, on to book 5... we have to find out who gets the Mask of Life!!!

Wanna figure out how the Piraka met up? Here's your chance! it will tell you about all the characters (but not about Zaktan. mysterious?) And it will tell you about there first mission with The Shadowed One. And how they were sposed to save some island. It is the coolest book i've ever read.
