About the Author
Teri Woods is a native of Philadelphia. She worked as a legal secretary/paralegal for eight years in a Philadelphia Center City law firm. She began writing True to the Game in 1993 and began to submit her work to publishers. After being turned down, the book sat dormant in a closet for two years. In 1998, she began selling handmade copies of the book out of the trunk of her car. With the success of the handmade books, she started her own publishing and production company, Meow Meow Productions.


Teri Woods lives in New Jersey with her two children. She is hard at work on her next novel.

The Classic Of All Urban Books Today!!!!
This book is extremely good from beginning to end. I immediately fell in love with Gena and Quadir and adored them( giggling to myself). I bought this book years ago and till this day, i read it a million times. I also own part II of this book and currently reading it. Teri Woods is a great writer and her imagination to her novels are FIERCE!!!! =)

Action packed from the go!!! I just couldn't put it down, can't wait for the sequel!!

And this is what all the fuss was about?
After hearing all the hype about this book,I just had to read it and see what this so called classic was all about.And honestly I didnt see what all the fuss was about cause to me,this book was just ok.It started off kind of slow and she introduced too many unnecessary characters,The book really didnt hold my attention till almost the very end.The flow of this book was just off.And Gena wasnt smart at all..How are you going to be a drug dealers girl and not have any cash saved up...just dumb and green as hell.But any way I will read part 1 and 2 out of curiosity even though the reviews are terrible.
