Don't Waste Your Time or Money
This book appears to be a rushed warmed-over edition for a prior version of the software. I purchased this book to learn how to use the important new features of Google SketchUp 7.

Want to learn how to build Dynamic Components? Forget it -- the chapter devoted to DCs is nothing more than a few explanations of the DC dialog boxes -- no real-world help whatsoever.

Ready to dig into Ruby scripting? Don't bring your shovel -- the short Appendix on the topic shows you how to open the Ruby Console -- Whoop-dee-do! No gems to be found there!

Maybe you want to create some great UIs using the Webdialog box? No dialogs here -- the Index doesn't even list the word!

If this book is supposed to be the "Bible" on Google SketchUp then it's missing the New Testament!

Here's a Revelation -- don't waste your time or money on this book!

Waste of Money
Everything Uncle Brian said plus:
typeface is printed in a light gray-almost impossible to read except in extremly bright light (my eyes aren't that bad...).

Not the Bible for Google Sketchup
This book could NOT be considered the Bible for Google's Sketchup. I have used other 2D and 3D software including Autocad and it's many versions.

In order for this to be a bible it must have stories about Jesus's life in the new testament and Mosses parting the Red Sea in the old Testament.

I only found 2 or 3 "tutorials" in the entire book. Use this book more like a "Dictionary" than a Learn Sketchup book.
