Customer Reviews
Great entry in the Dover Coloring Book series!
This Dover Coloring Book of selected famous Frank Lloyd Wright stained glass window designs is very well done. Each design is is clearly executed on translucent plastic, suitable for hand coloring. Each of the 16 designs are attributed to the place they came from, and there are illustrations of 4 of the original windows provided. Definitely worth the few bucks to own this wonderful book!
More of a coloring book than a pattern book
When I received this book, with the intention of using it for actual stained glass patterning, I was surprised to find that the patterns are presented on translucent paper. It is clearly designed to be colored and then hung on a window - a great kid's project, no doubt. The images are clear enough for patterning, but the lack of those little niceties like color examples and piece counts is disheartening.
superb renderings
Dennis Casey is a true craftsman that has captured the essence of FLWs designs for reproduction. Detailed, accurate and precise, Casey's renderings are excellent and the best available. Extremely well informed, has conducted extensive onsite research of famous art glass designs. Great source.
