Yet Another Generatiom
It has been over half a century since I read Anne Frank's diary, but it had such an impact on my life that I have never forgotten it. Today I am buying a copy for my great-granddaughters, just as I did for their mother & grandmother when they were of appropriate ages.
Anne is long gone, but her message for humanity lives on. I don't think my life & worldview would be the same if you have not allowed me to share those days in Amsterdam. Thank you, Anne.
Must Read.
The Diary of Anne Frank is a must read for anybody. For those who don't know, it was written by a young Jewish girl who was hiding from the Nazis during World War II. It was eloquently written, especially considering the source. It's an eye opening read. Definitely read this.
Classic but can be depressing
This book is an all time classic but I am not sure if it is a good read for the young adult of today as it can be quite emotionally distressing. As adolescents are vulnerable, I would be cautious.
