best book yet!5
this is the best book i've read out of the seven that are out. the true identity of the baby is formed and earth's remnants have to try and stop it. but there is only person who can. and for all of you action lovers, there is an awesome fight with the baby/shipwright and the one teenager who can stop him. the shipwright is actually afraid of the offender, because he knows that there's a small chance that the human will discover his true power and destroy the shipwright, so he must try to destroy him first. mean while another fight rages on as two humans(tamara hoyle an Mo'steel) fight as puppets...well you're gonna have to read it to see who wins and what happens after it. but it is a great book, and i loved it and so will you.

Switching gears - pivotal to the series.4
This book serves as a transitional piece in the Remnants series, much like Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is to the Harry Potter septology.

The book takes up from the sixth book with the Remnants split into factions. 2Face assumes the leadership of one group, and they head toward the bridge. Tamara and the baby lead the smaller group, which heads toward a Rider camp.
Tate wants to aid the residual human in Tamara and follows her deep into the enemy camp. What she sees greatly disturbs her and she narrowly escapes.
Tate, Roger Dodger and D-Caf try a daring scape of some of the Riders' hoverboards. The chase scene that follows will have you sick with anticipation until its breathtaking resolution.
Yago takes a peripheral role in this novel, but he does start to believe that he pure and chosen by Mother to continue a new non-marred human civilization on her ship.

2Face nearly takes the role of Yago in her group, becoming angry when others are hesitant to follow her lead. Kubrick has feelings for this girl and protects her with his life.
Upon nearing the bridge, a massive battle breaks out. The Riders have nasty moves, but the Meanies have some tricks up their sleeves. As more and more are killed in the battle, the Baby grows stronger. The baby's true identity is confirmed in the novel as well as the location of the bridge.

A light at the end of the tunnel3
Okay, let me just say this: Remnants 7 Isolation was the best Remnants yet(if you don't include issues 1 and 2). After progressively worse issues (once again, excluding 1 and 2)this book works. Why? Because it ends this massive, and fairly boring, story arc started with book 2. The Remnants now appear to have control of the massive space ship/station that snagged them out of space, as well as the ernomous groups of aliens on the ship trying to also regain control of it, and the ship's demented artificial inteligence(known as Mother). Now, ordinarily I would say this is just like the other books. However, since this bad storyline seems to be over, and new ones appearing, I will give this book extra points. In the preview for the next book it appears that the Remnants have found what's left of Good Old (massively gutted by an asteroid)Earth, and they are using the new power of the ship to return there. Finally! When I first heard about this series I thought it would be kind of like Star Trek meets Animorphs. A group of people, mostly teens, off exploring the Universe. Now it appears to be doing just that. In fact it is better that they were discovered by Mother. They couldn't explore the Universe in a dinky old space shuttle. Oh, well. I'm just glad this series is finally going somewhere.
