As the legend goes, an alien landed in the cornfields of Metier, Wisconsin. After a short while most of the aliens left. But others assimilated and cross-bred with humans. These children have lived ordinary lives--until now. At age 13, these offspring will manifest their alien powers . . . and have been targeted for termination. In Alien Terror, Ethan Rogers used to be a wimp. But suddenly he knows martial arts, wrestling moves, combat skills and even weaponry. He'd think it was pretty cool--if he wasn't running for his life.

Grade 6-8?Becoming a teenager always brings changes, but for certain adopted kids in the small town of Metier, their 13th birthdays reveal terrifying secrets. In Blood, Ashley Rose survives a near-drowning on her birthday and emerges with supersonic hearing and sight and the ability to remain underwater for long periods?an advantage in her swim-team competition. In Terror, Ethan has always been more interested in science-fiction comics and role-playing games than sports, much to his father's disappointment. Hoping to toughen him up, the boy's parents enroll him in karate school, where he suddenly exhibits superhuman strength and unearthly fighting skills. The interrelated plots follow a closely paralleled formula. Ethan and Ashley Rose are both pursued by a faceless alien killer. They use their newfound powers to confront and humiliate school rivals and they learn that their weird abilities are somehow connected to their biological parents. Many unanswered questions are left to be resolved in future books. While these titles make no pretense of being quality science fiction, they do offer an alternative to the more lurid series and could fill a need where there is high demand for series science fiction.?Elaine E. The Alien Terror Review
I think that Alien Terror, by Chris Archer, is a very odd, yet interesting, book. It is a little scary, though, so if you really dislike scary books I wouldn't recommend that you readit. It is about a boy named Ethan Rogers that becomes "possesed" by an alien on his 13th birthday and becomes really good at martial arts. It takes place in Metier, Wisconsin. Even tough it is an Italian name, and it is supposed to be pronounced Mee-tee-ay, people pronounce it "meteor." There are also rumors around the town about UFO sightings above the local reservoir... That is all I'm going to say because I don't want to give away the whole story and plot.
I would give it two big thumbs up!
Truly a Great book.
This a truly excellent book. If you like the Animorph Books, the Replica books, then you will definately find this a great Sci-Fi book. A definate keeper
its funnier than animorphs
I read alot of books and I like the action ones the best. Animorphs is good but this one is funnier. This one has action like animorphs but the kid does funny things and I like the comic book stuff too because I read comic books. I thnk this book would make a good movie too or tv show because the people are cool and there is a good balance between the action and humer!
