Customer Reviews
It's a terrific book with thrills & unexpected twists
If it's horror you want, it's horror you'll get with the book Double Date. The author of this book, RL Stine, knows exactly what the readers want, horror. This book is about three high school students, the Wade twins Bree and Samantha, and the school date-machine Bobby. Bobby meets the twins at school and suddenly, everything changes. He asks them both out, but doesn't realize what he got himself into. I liked how Samantha & Bree handled Bobby because it seemed as if it was the right thing to do.
The setting of this story is good because it is a place most people can relate to, high school. If the story didn't take place in the school it wouldn't have been as realistic. Other places the story takes place in are a mall and dance club. I liked these settings because most people can relate to them. This book is a must-read. Go get a copy today. Trust me, you'll get so involved you won't want to put this book down.
Suspenseful and unexpected plot developments!
I read R.L. Stine's Double Date. This book is about a guy who thinks he is "God's gift to the world". That attitude gets him in troulbe when he decides to date twins at the same time. I think it is good book because there is a lot of plot twists. I never would have expected the end would be like it was. If you like R.L. Stine you would love this book.
Another Great R.L. Stine Book
R.L. Stine, you've done it again! This story is about Bobby Newkirk who thinks he's the man because he can get all the girls he wants. He dates both Bree and Samantha, which are twins to prove so. But things start going horribly wrong, and Bobby Newkirk learns a little lesson.
I've always loved R.L. Stine's books. He wrote another good one. Way to go, Mr. Stine!
