About the Author
Anne Swithinbank is an experienced and respected gardener and an extremely popular broadcaster and garden writer. She has presented many television gardening programmes, including Bloom, Gardens of the Caribbean and BBC TV's Gardeners' World. A prolific gardening correspondent for a number of national magazines and newspapers, she has also written seven books, including (for Frances Lincoln) The Conservatory Gardener (published in the United States by Reader's Digest) and No Time to Garden.

Review of the Greenhouse Gardener
Probably not a good book for anyone interested in greenhouse gardening in the Northern US or Canada. The book dwells mainly on the use of unheated greenhouses during the season when northern gardeners would have their plants outside. Nothing about over winter greenhouse use (snow, subzero temps). However, if you are interested in how someone in the UK utilizes their greenhouse, then this is the book for you.

Gardener
It is a clear and simple to understand book, with part of the information I was looking for to set up a home vegetable garden. Its well organized and with useful pictures to illustrate gardening practices.
