Sweet, Adhorable, Perfect
My little girl was drawn to this book when she was only 4 months old and still picks it out over other books that are read at story time. It is perfect for her as it has a frilly little girl quality to it. Fun colors and design bring a real "feel good" sort of comfort and the story is uplifting and positive. This is so good for children as part of their "First Board Books" collection and I highly recommend it.

a bit too frilly to be marketed as a "1st book"
Ornate pics and frilly text were a bit too much for my two year old. She had no patience for me to read each page to her and she couldn't easily relate to the pictures - which were lovely watercolor types - but a bit too busy for the young eye. Thus - this should be more of a manners book for an older child - not a "very first" book.

Good first etiquette book
My 3 year old daughter enjoys the rhyming pages of etiquette this book introduces. My 5 year old son enjoys reading it to her too. It goes over when to say 'excuse me,' no, thank you, thank you, etc...Small board book is great for small hands to look at again and again.
