Now shoddy paper quality, printed to be "greener" and it shows
For some reason, this 2010 Schoolhouse Calendar was produced to be "green" so the pages are thin, flimsy, cheap quality paper. Frankly, it looks drab & ugly because of the texture.

The colors of each month's picture page are also dull -- much less vibrant than in the past & this really takes away from the special themes this calendar used to have that evoked "happy" days in the school room.

Now, the entire theme of the calendar's monthly messages are "think green, conserve," etc & I suspect Susan Winget wanted it this way b/c all of the art reflects this theme.

I'm not against green thinking, but I don't think this message on a Schoolhouse Calendar which I paid good money for already is a fair shake to the customer. Not only is the quality compromised, but I am now advertising their cause on my wall. I'm not being paid to be Lang's adversiting agent of "green" thinking.

I'm so bummed b/c the quality & creativity of this yearly calendar is now lost to low-budget, think green campaign.

Don't buy this - you'll be disappointed if you're used to a good quality Lang product.
