About the Author
Ethan Becker is the son of Marion Rombauer Becker and the grandson of Irma S. Rombauer, the original author of Joy of Cooking. He attended Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and has been a devoted home cook all his life. Continuing a family tradition stemming from the conviction that fine cooking depends upon the freshest ingredients, Ethan is an enthusiastic organic gardener. He and his wife, Susan, live at the family home, Cockaigne, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Lovely Design & Yummy Food
This book has the nicest page layout of photographs and recipes I've seen in a long time. It has recipes for simple things like different kinds of hot cocoa to cinnamon rolls, oatmeal, and tarts. The picture of the apple walnut muffins makes me salivate! This would make a great gift.
Darn near perfect!
We purchased this book to get ideas for our Bed and Breakfast -- The Sunflowers by the Sea. Not only was it filled with wonderful breakfast recipes but also valuable tips and techniques.
The book was so good we bought a second copy to keep at our winter home!
