If you haven't read Harry Potter by now stop reading this and order the series. Or go to a library. The greatest literary publication of this century.
This volume was a hardback version of the Queen's English version. That is to say the books published in England that have Anglicized words like neighbour and whatnot. It made a great gift to a HP fan that didn't have all the books. If you don't mind the investment I'd say go for it. I've got one and it made a great gift.

JK Rowlings has constructed a classic series for all ages with her Harry Potter set. The author follows Harry and his friends through their schooling at Hogwarts as they discover Harry's destiny to face Lord Voldemort. JK Rowlings takes her time at devloping the characters in the story, yet still entertains the read by weaving in old wizard and magical folklore with their adventures. Every book bring not only a lagre obstical for Harry and his friends to overrcome, but also brings the story one step closer to the ultiamte face off in book seven. The story flow easily and is written at about a 5th or 6th grade level, so it can be enjoyed by all ages.
This is a must read for those who enjoy stories about magic and adventure. If you are a fan of the movies...you will love the books.
