Product Description

One piece of paper, with so many possibilities! From Margaret Van Sicklen, passionate origami proselytizer and author of the bestselling book The Joy of Origami, this calendar brings the fun and creativity of origami to every day of the year. Fold a graceful lily, a spinning helicopter, a five-tiered pagoda. A whole menagerie of animals—cats to peacocks to sea horses—plus a rocket, a festive sombrero, a dollar-bill armadillo, and hearts and stars galore. The models are for every level of origami hobbyist, and the perfectly square, colorfully patterned pages double as folding paper. Includes weekend trivia and lore, and a separate "Origami Key" with clearly explained base folds, symbols, and other helpful hints.

Customer Reviews

Great learning tool5
This is the second calender of this type I have bought...Love them. Precise instructions easy to follow. I have highly recommended this product to anyone who wants to learn origami.

Great Calender5
This is a really good Calender. It provides a variety of Origami as well as a bit of history behind Origami. It's a well worth having calendar for those who love Origami.

The easiest way to make origami4
I bought this for my son who likes to origami, and this page-a-day calendar is a terrific idea. The downside is that once you folded a page, you can't do it again, so if you have some favorite pages, you are out of luck.
