Now this is getting away from it all. Islands is the gift of instant relaxation in this, a tranquil year of scenic island retreats. Exquisitely photographed in full color are pristine tropical escapes, like Whitsunday Island and its brilliant white sand of pure quartz. Mediterranean wonders, including the cliffs of Santorini and the golden shores of Majorca. Plus a dramatic Nantucket sunset, the rice fields of Bali, and New Zealand's Milford Sound—acclaimed by Rudyard Kipling as the "eighth wonder of the world." One glance, and you're there.

If you only own one calendar...
If you only own one calendar, Islands is absolutely a wonderful choice. I have been buying this calendar since 2006 (or so), usually in multiple copies to give to family and friends. Although an island, beach, or ocean scene is NOT the topic of each photo (there are boats and villas and other scenes), the quality is superb and the simply process of flipping to the next photo each day is rewarding. If you dream of travel (like those of us with a modest income), this calendar certainly will inspire you.
a new daily love!
the finest day-at-a-time published (in my humble opinion) . . . the photos are splendid . . . the 2010 is now available!
