Fly Fishing Made Easy
Of all the beginning fly fishing books I own or have read, I like this one the best. I find that most all of my questions are answered in this book and still refer back to it when I forget something. I first owned the 3rd edition and the 4th has been updated with gear and methods not available in the earlier editions. If you are just getting started, this is not a bad place to begin.
Very good book
I have read many books on flyfishing. Most are repetitive or don't cover the bases. It's important to not only understand the equipment and casting/presentation techniques, but also how to find where the fish are, and to learn something about the bugs they eat. This is a great starting overview of all these aspects.
