Jocelyn's charming, intricate collages magically turn cloth, buttons, and other materials into lively, colorful, multidimensional scenes. In fact, the charming collage artwork will inspire kids to think about their own days as they name Nellie's friends (her stuffed animals, her quilted blankie); point out the letters of the alphabet as Nellie plays teacher; and identify the bath items at tub time (washcloth, sponge, rubber ducky, etc.). There are so many things to see and so many different objects (cloth, paper, buttons, felt, and pasta, among other things) used to make the pictures that numerous readings will be guaranteed.
