"The Stutterin Boy"
THIS IS A GOOD AUTOBIOGRAPHY ABOUT THE LIFE OF MEL TILLIS UP TO 1984. IT IS GOOD READING FOR MEL TILLIS FANS. SOME OF THE WORDS IN THE BOOK COULD HAVE BEEN LEFT OUT, BUT IF THESE WERE HIS ACTUAL WORDS, IT IS OKAY. THERE IS NO PROFANITY. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THERE ARE ANY OTHER BOOKS ABOUT MEL TILLIS AFTER 1984?

Autobiography - a must read
I first read this book because I live in his area and like him as a person. His book gave such insight into the area and it turns out I know many of the wonderful close friends he talks about. He captures them perfectly - they have not changed. Still wonderful. It is heartwarming besides being a success story. Kudos to Mel! I bought several - even one to replace the edition at the Pahokee library that was lost to hurricane damage.
Very Interesting
Really a good look into Mel's life ,very entertaining & funny at times. Loved it !
