About the Author
Matthew Link is a writer, video maker, and kayaker living on the Kona Coast of Hawai`i's Big Island. A member of the National Gay and Lesbian Journalists Association, Matthew has contributed to the guides Access Gay USA, Ferrari Gay Travel A to Z, and Fodor's gay travel guides, as well as writing for numerous international magazines and producing award-winning video documentaries. He has traveled to, and lived in, over 20 countries in Asia, Europe, and the Pacific.

After reading this book, I felt it was a little "dated" but, overall, it's a great guide for the Gay and Lesbian Traveler to Hawaii. Many lists of what, where, why and when to go to Paradise!
