About the Actor
Fabián Salas - multitalented tango teacher, dancer, and choreographer. Fabián was a member of the original cast (1994-1995) of the award-winning (Best Musical) argentine tango show "Gotán", and also performed in the stage show "El Patio de la Morocha" (1993-1994) at the "Teatro Municipal General San Martin" in Buenos Aires. In 1997 he became one of the three principal dancers in the award-winning movie - "The Tango Lesson". Tireless researcher and maestro, remarkable dancer and connoisseur of the secrets of tango - Fabián Salas has brought light to old beliefs and opened new ways in the conception of the dance, creating an unmistakable style of dancing the Tango. He is acclaimed around the world as one of the most representative artists of Argentine Tango. Fabián Salas is the principal creator and producer of the world's biggest and most important tango event - the annual Congreso Internacional de Tango Argentino (CITA), which takes place in Buenos Aires every March.

Master level instruction
Tango can be one of the hardest dances to learn by video but this video makes it very easy.
After following the detailed instruction in this dvd you will be able to Tango with style for a complete Tango song.
Each of the steps flows beautifully into the next step so the flow you learn is great.

Ideal start
Ideal start to the tango is what this video is. Everything is simple, straightforward, and most importantly correct in the sense of authentic argentine tango. Once I mastered this volume 1, I was ready and not afraid to go out and ask any woman to dance with me. The proper technique, posture, and simple basic steps, gave me confidence that I needed. I am currently on volume 2, which expands the world of argentine tango walk - which immediately identifies and differentiates this dance from anything else out there. I just can't stop walking - the argentine way.

This is a DVD version of the same excellent volume 1 of the Tango Fundamentals by Fabian Salas. The advantage here is the digital quality and the interactive menue which gives direct access to all ten lessons, plus the terrific exhibition dancing.
