About the Author
Michael-Christopher has been an active voice in the black lesbian and gay community for over a decade as an author, illustrator, lecturer and artistic adviser to several outreach projects throughout the United States. During the late 1990 s and early 2000 s he brought to life the characters Hank, Andre and Kurtis in the Living the Life graphic novel series and two subsequent novels. Michael has appeared in VIBE, Honey, The Advocate, Sapience, Metro Weekly and the New York and Washington Blade publications. Currently residing in the Washington, DC area, Michael divides his time co-publishing the Black Pride Resource Guide and working with DC Black Pride. From Top to Bottom is his tenth publication under his own publishing imprint, MC Books, making Michael one of the longest running self published writers in his genre.

SO ON POINT
I LOVED this book from beginning to end. I think it accurately portrayed the gender-biased roles of men in the SGL lifestyle. Not just that but it was well-written, well organized and the story line was GREAT! It is definitely one of my favorites and I will read it again and again. Look forward to seeing more from this author. Especially along this story-line, it was awesome. BUY IT!

It was different
I like the book at lot but the ending was different. I feel like I can used the metro in DC,
not get lost. In Harris' books too many characters are perfect. This book is like life with
the good and bad.
