Happy Holidays!
Mavis has done it again...great story and lots of sex! I enjoyed this story of two women that have known each other since they were six. They went through their first kiss, first heartbreak, and lots of break-ups and make-ups in between. This book is about true love and the power of soulmates. Lindsey is a fiesty little blonde and Tressa is the love of her life...and a doctor at that! By the force of nature or should I say by force of thy mother, the two women are thrown back together after being apart for a decade as Tressa must take Lindsey home for the holidays. Will they be able to overcome the misunderstanding of their past or will there always be something standing in their way to a happy ending? Home for the Holidays is a very easy, enjoyable read! You will fall in love with the characters and their families. It would be great if all parents were as execepting as Tressa and Lindsey's. This book is packed full of wicked humor, love, lust, and lots of sex! Did I mention a wacked out ex-girlfriend/stalker? This book is great and I am sure to keep it in my collection to read again!
It's one that will have you reading it over and over and over again
I love Mavis's books. I own most of them
But they all have one flaw - The editing is very poor in them.
There are too many grammar and spelling mistakes for a book to pass an editors desk let alone publish it.
Mavis writes GREAT stories, they are funny romantic and sexy.
I can't wait to delve into the new one Tempus Fugit.
I really do hope the editor took her time and caught all those annoying mistakes.
As a fan I can't help myself but suffer till the editor gets it right, which is an injustice to Mavis and her hard work.
