Editorial Reviews

Review
"...one of the best collections of the year by four remarkably warped individuals..." -- DreadCentral.com

"Every single [story] is entertaining...I've already read some of them 3-4 times with a grin on my face..." -- Creature-Corner.com

"From sex with vegetables to mass murder of the grandest scale, there's definitely something for everyone to enjoy here..." -- MaximumHorrors.com

A few of the originals are utterly tasteless and utterly hilarious, particularly one each by Martin Mundt and Bill Breedlove. --The Year's Best Fantasy and Horror 2007

From the Inside Flap
"...And though each is a unique perspective and unique voice, they all have that "œtongue in cheek" (not necessarily one's own), satirical, never say "die" when you can say "maim" kind of thinking that we find in those works of horror likely to reside and resound within the reader's consciousness for a long, long time." -From the Introduction, By Mort Castle

From the Back Cover
"Martin Mundt is a nasty, warped, zero-temperature so-and-so who can't put two words together without first snickering, then slitting their throats. No wonder reading him is such a pleasure."

– Peter Straub author of Floating Dragon and Hellfire Club

"John Everson’s stories are an exhilarating mix of brains and horrific brawn – scary, controversial, and unforgettable."

– Edward Lee author of Flesh Gothic and Slither

"I read Bill Breedlove's work and it spanked me with butter."

– Curtis White author of The Middle Mind; Why Americans Don't Think for Themselves

Jay Bonansinga is "one of the most imaginative writers of thrillers."

– Chicago Tribune

Ultimate Edgy Horror!! Get it NOW!5
Wow! What can you say...Some of the leading Horror writers combining their efforts in one of the most original and edgy horror collections to date! I have loved everything that Everson has written so far...and his stories in this collection prove to not disappoint. If you are a fan of the "Splatter punk" anything goes type of horror...this collection is right up your alley. A variety of twisted, horror stories that have true shock value and there is not a weak one in the collection!! What more can you ask for!! For the lovers of Ed Lee, Jack Ketchum, J.F. Gonzalez and the like..you are in for a true TREAT appropriately named "Candy in the dumpster!"

Horror writing at it's finest 5
A "must read" collection of short horror stories by four talented writers. There's something for everyone here, horror, comedy, blood and guts, sex and things that make you go "EWWWWWWW" and "EEEEEEK". Need I say more....?
Just read it.

Original, twisted, funny and entertaining -- what more could you want?5
It takes some imagination to write fiction. It takes something extraordinary to produce a book of short stories with the originality that these authors have shown. They pull things out of the black top hat that the magician didn't even know was there. Completely twisted, often so funny I laughed out loud in an empty room and always entertaining, you cannot pass this book up. I'm on Amazon ordering more of this book to share my "find" with my friends.
