Editorial Reviews

Review
“It is perfect for the incoming future technicians. The author’s approach is well organized, the tone is good. He does not use words that are above a person’s head and things flow together well. I like that the author keeps it basic for the student, and the freshness of the information.”Mike JanovskyHennepin Technical CollegeEden Prairie, MN

“The strengths are the research put into obtaining this information. Also the experience from the author and your research organizations: I-CAR, tech. colleges, and ASE involvement.”

“Organization and readability are good. Topics are explained clearly. The topics follow a logical sequence and flow well. They follow the order that they would be learned and applied. Good points: Very thorough; the illustrations seem good; it’s not product specific and refers the reader to use tech sheets and manuals for specific applications.”“The author does a fine job and I find his writing style easy to read. The top strengths, as I see them, are the thoroughness, that it is well written, and the depth to which the topics are explained.”Steve WhitePortland Community CollegePortland, OR
