Customer Reviews
Beautiful photos and functional too!
I find it hard to buy a wall calendar or engagement calendar sight unseen. I was intrigued by the idea of this calendar but wanted a clearer sense of the artist's photography. Fortunately, Nancy Trueworthy's 2009 Wall Calendar is still viewable at Amazon.com, and one of the views shows each month's photograph. I was impressed by the beauty and creative shots on her 2009 wall calendar so took a chance and purchased this 2010 weekly engagement calendar.
I chose well. There's one photo per week, each one a beauty. Most of the photos are of Maine shorelines, some of Massachusetts, one of Venice, several of the U.S. Virgin Islands etc. All seem to be of ocean shorelines (no river shorelines), some at sunset or sunrise, some with boats or occasionally a lighthouse. There's enough room to make entries for each day of the week, plus a column on the right of each page to make additional notes, plus an entire page for notes at various places in the calendar and more pages for notes and contacts at the end. The binding is spiral so it will lie flat when opened. All in all, this is not only a beautiful but well-designed and practical engagement calendar. Thank you, Ms. Truworthy!
Quiet Beach Photos
The photos in By the Shore, a 2010 Weekly Engagement Planner, are reminiscent of quiet walks on deserted beaches. They bring some tranquility to otherwise hectic workweeks.

Lovely photos. Handy small pocket inside front cover. My only complaint is that the pages don't close perfectly easily, it could possibly use a larger coil spine. But overall I'm happy with it.
