ALCANDIAN RAGE is the continuation of Zeva, Ravid, and Keenan's story from ALCANDIAN QUEST.
Zeva has no idea how she's going to get back to her home on Alcandar, but she does know she's not going to remain a hostage to the human captors who see her as little more than an alien, they may have destroyed the gate between the two worlds that made travel between Earth and Alcandar possible, but Zeva is determined to escape to her home and the two men she'd worked so hard to avoid binding with.

Ravid and Keenan are Judgment officials on Alcandar. They know that Zeva is their mate but she'd studiously avoided them, thus avoiding any risk of mind bridging. Once their world reestablished a gate between them and Earth, they'd be able to retrieve Zeva and they're determined there will be no escape for her, it's time for Zeva to take her rightful place as their mate.

Zeva agreed to work while on Earth in an effort to gain both release from her cell and then earn her captors' trust so that she could plan her escape. By working, she's also able to learn to read English as she watched the warehouse for clues for to a way to escape. She's been captive on Earth for a full year and still just the memory of the two warriors sends a small thrill through her body. Still binding with a warrior would mean submission and Zeva is definitely not a submissive kind of girl.

Ravid and Keenan had been hunting a pair of deviants on Alcandar, but have been unsuccessful at catching them. Helmut and Craddock killed and preyed on their own females, no true warrior would do such a thing. Capturing the deviants has become a driving force in both Ravid and Keenan's lives. Second only to the retrieval of their potential mate, Zeva from Earth. Once a link is set up, both men look forward to retrieving Zeva, on Earth they will not be bound by Alcandian law. The threat of Helmut and Croddock hangs over all their heads and if Zeva truly is their mate, and they bring her home, she could possibly be used by the deviants to strike at Ravid and Keenan.

Cole Somerton had kept a tiny piece of Alcandian technology hidden away. He instinctively knew that Rinehart would stab him in the back. With the little device Cole knows he's able to help Zeva get back to her home and away from the bigotry of the people of Earth. He arrives at the warehouse just in time to witness the beginning of Zeva's escape, between the two of them, Zeva would return home in no time, but what her future will be, is still a big question in her mind. And what about Cole and Sargent Cassandra, who had been guarding Zeva, will they travel to Alcandar or remain behind on Earth and risk being found out?

ALCANDIAN RAGE is the continuation of Zeva, Ravid, and Keenan's story from ALCANDIAN QUEST. This story can be read alone but in order to have a true understanding of the battling courtship between the three characters I'd recommend reading them both. Honestly, they're so good, you'd want to read them both anyway. ALCANDIAN RAGE has a kick butt heroine from another world, two warriors attuned to her every mood and need, hot sex scenes, a kidnaping, emotional upheaval and finally acceptance. I wondered what happened to Zeva after she was taken hostage on Earth. Mary Wine brought all the characters I loved from ALCANDIAN QUEST back in ALCANDIAN RAGE and I couldn't be more thrilled with the results. Now, we really need to know what happens with Cole and Sargent Cassandra, so hopefully, Ms. Wine will produce at least one more ALCANDIAN series story for her faithful readers to drool over.

On Alcandar, the males outnumber the females. Every woman has more than one mate and Alcandian men search not only Alcandar but Earth as well for their soul-mates. When Zeva pushed her brother's mate Jessica through the wormhole connecting Earth to Alcandar, she did so to protect Jessica from treacherous harm. heroine. She is strong, smart, and a fierce warrior. Ravid and Keenan are a perfect match to Zeva. Mighty and potent, they practically vibrate strength and virility. Zeva's internal struggles along with a battle against the rogue males, give this book a lot of tension and plot twists. With Alcandian Rage Mary Wine has crafted another voyage into the world of Alcandar that will leave you anxious for your next journey there.

i completely enjoyed this book and the one before it and am sincerely hoping that she writes another in this world. There are several characters that i would like to see more of.
