Majestic spiral arms of a remote galaxy shimmer from the combined light of 50 billion stars. The ethereal curtains of the aurora borealis ripple across the night sky. Vast clouds of gas and dust, 10,000 times wider than the solar system, pervade the galaxy. Captured by the cameras of talented amateur astronomers and by the world's most powerful research telescopes, the universe's impressive wonders are presented in Astronomy 2010 in brilliant high-resolution color.
This 12-image collection was compiled by stargazing authority Terence Dickinson, author of NightWatch. He brings a wealth of practical experience to the calendar's diary of predicted celestial events, which range from meteor showers to eclipses.

Astronomy Calendar
I am very pleased, as always since 2002 when I started buying this calendar each year, and entertained with my Astronomy Calendar. The images are 'heavenly' and make great viewing. There's great information on each 'box' date on the Galaxy, present and past, and the space for each day is nice and large.
Highly recommend!!!!!
As usual, Terance Dickinson's annual Astronomy calendar is both informative and beautiful to hang! The astroimages are superb. I buy this every year. Highly recommend. A+++++
Calendar is Superb
This has been my favorite calendar for years and it still hasn't disappointed me. As always, the blocks for the days provide plenty of space to write in, the astronomical event information is excellent, it provides a wealth of holiday information, and the pictures are amazing.
