Well written and HOT M/M action
I will read anything by Morgan Hawke. Her stories are always well written with interesting characters, and this book is no exception.

Brief plot: Trey is a dance instructor, who has taken a side job as a stripper for the evening. He needs the correct 'outfit' and bumps into Ken, a martial arts instructor, while in the adult store. They flirt briefly, but Trey takes off, not being into guys. Oddly enough, Ken happens to be at the private party where Trey has been hired to 'dance' for the evening. Trey revs things up by dancing while looking directly at Ken - an invitation that Ken takes him up on in the men's room after Trey leaves the stage. Thus begins their wonderful relationship...

Torrid is different from Ms. Hawke's other 'romantica' in that the main characters, Ken and Trey, are both male, but don't let that stop you (in fact, if you have read anything else by this author, such as Hard Candy, you will know that she usually focuses a story on M/F/M, with the M/M relationship having equal weight in the tale). I read this in ebook format first, and have ordered the paperback now that it is available to add to my 'keeper' shelf.

I don't leave many reviews but as a follow-up to a comment made below.... Tempestuous is also m/m. Both books are incredibly hot! Actually, Morgan's "Torrid" was the first strickly m/m I'd read and I found it, interestingly enough, a major turn on! I'm hoping she sets another story with these two guys... especially after the closing pages! Get the book and you'll know what I mean. :) If you like hot erotica, no matter what the mixture, Morgan's books are perfect. The girl has some serious imagination!!!

wow. erotic, romantic and fun!
This is the first book I've read by Morgan Hawke, but it definitely won't be the last. The sex was hot, the characters were engaging, and the plot was interesting. Usually "erotic" novels (at least for me) are missing at least one out of three of these essential elements, but not here. When the book ended I was REALLY disappointed. I would have been perfectly happy to read at least another hundred pages about their relationship. I highly recommend this book.
