Engine Builder's Handbook
Having rebuilt three of my own engines over the last year, I was looking for hints and tips to improve my results and to raise my skill level. From the very beginning of the book, Monroe's attention to detail and common sense approach has done just that for me. After I had read both books on Nissan engines by this author I bought this book too.This book is set out so you can diagnose faults first to determine if you need to rebuild or not.Then it goes into engine teardown in detail.It describes the rebuilding process.The cylinder heads are covered in a separate chapter which the author explains.

For anyone who loves working on cars this book is ideal.Its written so most people will understand it.There are plenty of photos throughout with explanations.This book is like your best friend guiding you through the whole process.

This book is a gem and a bargain.Make this the first book you consider on engine rebuilding.The book was written to give guidance on all engines not just V8's.A must have book.
