Editorial Reviews
From AudioFile
Several speakers come together in this story about a school science fair project gone bad. With such a variety of characters it is only fitting to hear separate voices for the computer robot and the kids. "The Brain" sounds evil from the beginning, but his true nature is not revealed until it's too late to stop him. The character of Stephanie brings common sense to the table with her down-to-earth tone and thoughtful silences. Daniel brings excitement; you can sense his eagerness to win the science fair. Each speaker brings a unique personality to the characters. The narration helps make the story flow well. M.J.R. © AudioFile 2006, Portland, Maine-- Copyright © AudioFile, Portland, Maine
Customer Reviews
Great and Cool Book!
This is the first Strange Matter book I have read! It is really good. I liked it a lot. Johnny Ray Barnes and Marty M. Engle are two great authors! They are giving R.L. Stine competition!
Strange Matter Books are Great!
Engle and Barnes are just spectacular! Their books keep you reading until you are done. The Computer graphics, again, are spectacular! I don't believe that there are any other books that are better
Toy Trouble
I think Toy Trouble is a great and really spooky book because your able to feel the fear not like any other ordinary book. Also the book has an outstanding cover with a colorful picture picture that no other book shows. And also your able to feel the excitment when you take time out to read this great book
