A fun read...Highly recommended. -- Henry Shaw Cactus Society

Stuck On Cactus takes the mystery out of owning and raising these often-overlooked plants. Written especially for the beginning gardener, Stuck On Cactus takes a light-hearted approach toward the care of succulent plants. Not only is Stuck On Cactus fun to read and easy to understand, but it is filled with useful information, like how to keep from killing your cactus in the first two months (very important), how to fight nasty cactus-eating pests (like red spider mites and thrips), and how to put together your own cactus grower's tool kit (filled with high tech equipment like bent forks and chopsticks. Raising more than 500 cactus pants in three greenhouses, David E. Wright (who is also librarian for the Oregon Cactus and Succulent Society) knows first-hand how hard it is to grow cactus and has developed the ideal introductional "how to" guide that will prove invaluable to any gardening reference bookshelf. -- Midwest Book Review

Stuck On Cactus5
Informative, easy read, keeps humor in growing plants.

Simple instructions5
On impulse I had recently purchased several small cactii and never even considered how to care for them. This guide was a VERY easy read and I finished it in an hour. The chapters are layed out in an easy to follow sequence and written so that a novice such as myself could easily understand thier content and they had a nice touch of humor too. After reading it I felt this is a VERY basic guide ment to get you started toward caring for and enjoying these plants and I would recommend it to anyone interested in raising a cactus.

This is a good little book for a beginner cactus grower. Gave it to my 12 y.o. grandson when he was 11 y.o. & he devoured the pages & absorbed the information.
