Just gorgeous
It's disappointing that people are giving this beautiful calendar low ratings because they didn't read the item description or look at the photos carefully. This is NOT a tear-off-a-page-a-day calendar. It's a wall calendar with one large photo for the month and then a smaller photo for each day.

I bought this as a gift for my grandparents, who are big bird-lovers, and it's just stunning. The photos are gorgeous, and with so many photos on each page, the effect is so bright and colorful. I'm almost tempted to keep it for myself!

The only reason I'm not giving this five stars is that I would have liked to see more info about each bird -- as it is, the only info supplied (other than the name) is for the "bird of the month," not for the daily birds. But I guess I understand the decision -- if you had tons of info for each day's bird, you wouldn't have any room to write down appointments, etc.

I had this calendar for 2008 and loved seeing all of the beautiful pictures of the birds on every day of the month. I will definitely order it for 2009.
