Product Description

By day it was paradise. By night it was a seething hell.

Nightworld -- where for centuries werewolves, dragons, griffins, and vampires served a computerized Prince of Darkness . . .

Where every sunset brought forth a call for the most heinous acts imaginable by the most frightening creature of all . . . Where a courageous young lord and a determined outworlder set forth on a journey of innumerable terrors to destroy the computer creature known as Satan in its own technologically horrifying haven of hell!

"Wonderful! A journey in the company of good travelers through a landscape of old menaces newly twisted -- a cleanly written adventure story." -- Roger Zelazny

Fun Book, Poor Editing3
It became obvious as I read that the current printing by wildside press was done by scanning a paper manuscript with poor Character Recognition, then it was printed without a final check. Lots of punctuation errors all over the book. The 'd' in the word 'and' was replaced with 'al' in at least two locations. (Write that out to see what the awful result is!) How a printer could ever get away with this is beyond me.
If you want to read this fun little story, get a second-hand copy of the original printing.

The Perfect Metaphor5
The year was 1979. I was just 13 years old, the awkward age when the hormones are raging, young girls look like goddesses and magic is not yet quite the myth it becomes at 35. Being raised in a small Judeo/Christocentric redneck town only complicated the chaos of puberty and identity chrisis. In a world where demons and angels battled constantly for possesion of my soul, I identified perfectly with the hero. This book was pivotal in changing my world view and while it may not be so important to others it is still a romping good read. I define it as a worthy successor to Dante's Inferno!
