Traci Wells has never thought about dating any of the men from Make You Sweat, her local gym, until he catches her eye--the sexy blue-eyed stranger with the most unbelievable body she has ever laid eyes on. However, Traci promises not to let herself fall for Zack, but that vow is put to the test as the two of them grow closer and closer. Zack Drace isn't usually the one who approaches women for dates, but when he spots the alluring mocha skinned beauty Traci Wells, that policy goes out the door. He wants to make her his more than anything in the world. He isn't going to allow the opinions of his brothers or her sister to stand in his way.

Very Disappointed!
Given the synopsis, along with the positive reviews I read, I thought I'd truly enjoy this story. I couldn't have been more wrong! Lets start with the main characters: Zack and Traci. Zack is a great guy all around and it's easy to see how any woman could fall for him. However, Traci came across as immature and naive. Zack was sweet, romantic, and loving towards her; yet their relationship seemed so unbalanced to me. In return all he seemed to get were Traci's silly assumptions (that led to juvenile arguments) and her refusal to be seen in public with him because she feared her sister's opinion. It just all seemed ridiculous. I thought Zack could do better and I found Traci irritating and hard to relate to.
Aside from this, I thought the dialogue between Zack and his brothers seemed somewhat unnatural and forced... like the author was struggling to create believable male conversations/dialogue. The dialogue also seemed a bit redundant when Zack referred to Traci with the same phrases of endearments (..."your beautiful face" etc). I love a great romance novel, but this one fell short. It was a struggle to even finish the book with the above mentioned issues. If you want a GREAT interracial romance, check out "Three Wishes" by Seressia Glass.
Another Dud...
I'm starting to think that maybe I have masochistic tendencies, because I keep reading things by this author knowing that I will be disappointed in the end. It's a sickness I tell you. I just don't get it. I won't even get into the grammatical mistakes in this book because it is typical for this author. Her editors need to be fired ASAP! I don't know why any man would put up with a GIRL like Traci. And yes I meant to say girl because she's so damn immature and constantly trying to sabotage her own life. She was an idiot. I have to give props to Zack for even sticking with that loony bird. If you're an intelligent reader, please don't waste your time on this.
Calling all hopeless romantics
This Book made me fall in love with the Drace brothers. There is one of the four I think to meet the attraction of most women. Zach chased the sensitive Traci throughout the story. Traci being scarred and carrying excess baggage from a poor past relationship has love-sprung Zach leaping through hurdles to win her affections. When Traci and Zach are together the sparks fly and the romance that unfolds is absolutely beautiful. I rooted for Zach throughout the story. There are other obstacles causing difficulties for the couple. Zach's eldest brother Lee, who kinda has chauvinistic ideas of toward women and Traci's half sister who has difficulty accepting the race differences. I found it funny, sexy, and believable. There are even a few budding romances that have me anxious to purchase the next book in the saga of the Drace men.
