Blayne is strictly business—a stuffed shirt working for his father’s company to develop the next men’s razor. Ben is out of work and out looking for a good time. He's trying to forget his troubles and get over a past he can't even remember.
When they meet in a coffee shop one afternoon, Ben gets a lot more than a job. And when they start working together, nothing can keep them apart—not amnesia, not secrets, not Blayne's father, not even Blayne's wife!

About the Author
Scott Pomfret and Scott Whittier met, fell in love and now live together in Boston, Massachusetts. We realized the story of our romance wasn’t the only one out there. So we created Romentics, a line of romance novels for all gay men who believe in happily ever after.
We know firsthand the excitement and challenges of falling in love in a modern gay world. And we know how to write steamy literature. We’re both published writers, and both appear in Friction 7, Alyson Book’s newest collection of the year’s best erotic gay fiction.

Fun Read
This book is a great read! A sweet love story with an absorbing plot line twist! Personally, I enjoyed the whole book but what I really want to highlight is that the storyline is superb. I am amazed the authors were able to pull it off without the story seeming too silly. The only criticism I have is that I would have appreciated a bit more development in the main characters' relationship. Maybe less sex and more tender moments. But then I am a female and therefore probably not the target audience for this book. lol. Don't get me wrong the characters love is believeable and enjoyable. Yet, probably because of the need to develop the strong plot, the relationship developed pretty quickly. Nevertheless, as a female who has read many romance novels, I have to say this book was refreshing and satisfying. I suggest that all those who are open to this subject, check this book out!
Refreshing
This was a fun read. Ben and Blayne make a great couple. They complement each other well. The wiseass and the anal suit. The sex is hot. The story believable. The mystery and suspense are an added bonus to a refreshing romance.
This book will not keep you away from your chores for very long, because it's an easy, quick read - difficult to put down - and not all that long - unfortunately.
The occasional typo is distracting, but the novel still warrants a high rating.
Suprisingly Good
OK...I figured this series by Scott & Scott was going to be gay romance with an overdose of syrup. WRONG!!...The story was sexy, convoluted, intense, suspenseful, and just plain entertaining. The characters were credible, the series of events which framed the story were plausible, and the twists in the story just enough to make the reader figure out the "solution". I totally enjoyed this book. It is well worth your time to read.
