Product Description

To Kinig, the dark elves represent everything wonderful and mysterious in the world. If he could become the expert about the elves, his bardic career would be set. Luckily, times had changed, and his request to live among the elves for a time is granted, and Kinig is given into the care of Fallil, a bard among the elves.

Fallil doesn't expect to fall in love, but he does, and what begins as friendship grows into love and abiding passion. But Fallil knows he has to let Kinig go fulfill his dreams if the two are ever to be truly happy.

Nine cycles of seasons later, Kinig has realized his dreams of fame and is known over two continents as Kinig of the Dark Elves, the one human who knows as much as the raedjour themselves. Now, his thoughts stray back to the man he loves and it is time to return to the Dark Forest.

It's Kinig's knowledge that brings him to the attention of a solitary mage who holds the last red elf in his thrall. The red elf, Nialdlye comes to care for Kinig and sees in his stories a possible solution to her own problems. Can the two together break free of the mage's power and make their way back to Fallil?

I keep buying these...3
Love this concept - but it does leave me wishing for more.

Story 5) Discovery. Another generation has passed. Kinig a human bard wants to visit and learn more about our Elves and sing their praises. He is put under the guardianship of Fallil an Entertainer. Since Kinig is a 'lover of men' they of course fall in love. But Kinig wants to still sing his way to fame. After Garn gets a human pregnant - whom they end up losing because she was never changed (difficult 2 year team) - they actually lose all three (Garn, the woman and baby). Wonder of wonders - we find out that others have been going out into the night and having sex with humans. Guess age does not denote wisdom. The ruling council want some good press and interest by single females, so they ask Kinig to continue on his original mission and return above - pretty far stretch, not sure I can connect the dots on this one.

But Kinig goes back up and almost 10 years goes by. His is stolen by Ale'tone a white elf (male), who has Nialdlye a red elf (female) that he is keeping in his control - supposedly they are both each the last of their race. Our white elf is very somber / sexless and only asks questions about the dark elves. Our red elves are like our dark elves and were created for their god. Sex is a must for her and Kinig find that she does excite him. Nialdyle has been raised by Ale'tone and not really told that much about his or her race of elves. So, of course, we are only given some teasers. He teaches her to open portals, which he uses to travel thru by opening a second portal - leaving her in the void until he returns to go back 'home'.

We never really know what Ale'tone's plans are. But Nialdlye is concerned for Kinig and when Ale'tone steals another human, Robern, for her to have sex with, because her energy is low, she thinks that Kinig's days are numbered.

Stop reading if you don't want to know what actually happens.
Thank God that they re-introduce Radin in this story. Actually thought that this was the best part. He starts to teach her some basics and explains that Ale'tone is stealing her powers. Confrontation between Ale'tone and Nialdlye end up with them all in the void. The doors close and then - well we don't know exactly.

A vetriese opens in the Dark Forest and Radin, Nidldyle, Kinig and Robern all pop out. Radin is unconscious - and his white markings have turned red. Radin never wakes up before the end of the story. Nialdlye is like a goddess sent prayer to our sex starved guys and Kinig and Fillil re-unite.

Left me wanting more. If the next book is about Radin and with more red elves will get this as well. Feel that this was a filler / inbetween book - but was OK. Basically has 2 sections which are mini stories with a common ending.

Don't think that I would want to read this without first reading the other four stories. 224 pages.

Dark Elves- A Joyfully Recommended Title 5
Kinig is a bard who just had to learn more about the Dark Elves and requested permission to come and live with them, learn, and create his songs and stories to tell the world about them. He has no idea just how shocking his request to learn about the raedjour was to the raheja. Kinig just knows that this is an opportunity to learn about a new race and to spread the word. Plus, it will set his place in the world as a bard, is his thought before meeting the raedjour.

Fallil, a Dark Elf, when asked by the raheja, agreed to be Kinig's sponsor while he stays and learns from them. Fallil is an entertainer himself, so he understands what is behind Kinig's request and want for knowledge. Fallil and Kinig become a loving couple who enjoy entertaining the other dark elves whenever possible. They always knew that sooner or later Kinig would leave and return to the outside world but that doesn't make it any easier for either of them when the time comes. Fallil gives Kinig something to help him find his way back whenever he wishes to do so.

Nialdlye is the last red elf that was taken from her clan as a young child. Kept by a solitary mage who runs her life, when told it was important to find and take Kinig of the Dark Elves, Nialdlye helps. However, as the days pass and Nialdlye begins to care for Kinig, sees his love of the raedjour and Fallil, and learns horrible things about her keeper, she looks to see if maybe there is a way to help them both leave. Unexpected help lets Nialdlye and Kinig find a way to escape, but will they find their way back to the dark elves or be lost in the vast mists?

As a Dark Elves fan, I could only say Yippee as I finished Discovery. Kinig is a human bard wanting to explore this new world, Fallil is a Dark Elf entertainer who finds his bondmate, and Nialdlye is the last red elf who knows so little about herself and her people but knows that things are not what they should be. The bonding from friendship to lovers between Kinig and Fallil would have been enough to make me happy. However, when Ms. Mykles added a sexy female red elf that seems to be at least one answer to the Dark Elves needs, I was excited that maybe something could help them. But even that was not the end of the surprises I discovered as I finished. The pictures that were inserted and lovingly done by Ms. Mykles added a visual element, which only added to my enjoyment of the entire storyline. I can only say that Discovery is a must read for any longtime Dark Elves lovers. The many surprises, elements of suspense and the love of Dark Elves gives me no other choice but to make Discovery a recommended read.

If ladies are looking for something paranormal this series was good. It is not for just anyone. It has all kinds of sexual activity in it. But I have it in my collection. Waiting to see if there are more.
