In the neon glare of Sin City, two women ride a wave of passion that threatens to consume them in a world of fast money and fast times.
It's lust at first sight for blackjack dealer Rae Sutherland and conventioneer Cori Romero. Rae wants more from life than the constant shuffling of cards in a smoke-filled casino, but for now, she revels in the excesses of life and appreciates the never-ending parade of women at the tables. Cori is looking for something besides her day-to-day grind and aching for a new adventure, but doesn't expect to find it on the Vegas strip. Fueled by the encouragement of friends and Captain Morgan, she auditions for a singing gig and her path inevitably crosses Rae's. In spite of themselves, their relationship develops into something deeper than the initial intoxication of attraction, but both wonder if it's worth the gamble.

Let It Ride On Red... For Love
What an absolute joy it is to pick up a book from an author so new to this genre, especially when the book is a good as `Split the Aces.' With many new authors, the writing can be immature and somewhat disjointed. However, Belle delivers a quality of writing one would expect from a seasoned professional and I am ever so excited by it. This, the second book written by Jove Belle, is even better than her first.
Her she introduces Rae Sutherland, a young blackjack dealer who wants more out of life. She is constantly on the prowl and often takes casino guests to a back room for a little extra attention. However, Rae's life is not all it seems. She's working on a degree and hopes to some day run her own casino.
One night she crosses paths with casino guest and convention attendee Cori Romero. Cori is very conservative in her home life, but is determined to have fun while on this business trip. Running into Rae was exactly what she wants, but she's not initially sure how to respond to the alluring dealer.
Rae isn't ready to fall in love. Cori isn't expecting to. Scared and overwhelmed, both women find it impossible to resist the pull of the other. That's where the real drama starts.
Bottom Line - Great book. Very, exceptionally hot. Belle is a notable newcomer to the genre and should be enjoyed like a glass of fine wine. Talented with all the right ingredients, Belle is sure to only get better over time.
