Deception
Chase Dunn and Ty banning were trying to get a multimillion dollar condominium development project off the ground, but were being stopped by a women they had named the Wicked Witch of South Bend. She was only renting in one of the buildings they planned to demolish, but she had come out with guns blazing pulling everyone from their personal attorneys to the historical society into the fight. Before it got too ugly, they were going to try a face-to-face discussion hoping to work out some sort of compromise. Chase and Ty were not prepared for the sexy petite woman that opened the door, and were taken aback when she assumed they were both male escorts.

Tessa Miller was waiting to interview a prospect that she was going to hire to hit on her friend Linda's husband. They wanted to find out if he was seeing men behind her back, and couldn't afford a private investigator. Tessa thought if he was hit on by a good-looking man, they would have an answer. When Ty told her they weren't gay, she brushed off his response, and asked Linda which her husband would prefer. Both men knew they should fess up, but they were having too much fun with the subterfuge. After Linda left, Ty and Chase pounced on Tessa both not remembering a time when they had enjoyed a woman more.

Tessa had spent the last week with both men, and didn't want to imagine her life without them in it. She wasn't sure how they would work it out, but just wasn't every going to be prepared for it to be over. She now realized she had been living in a fantasy when she left her attorney's office, and saw Ty's picture in the society pages. She was devastated to learn of their complete and utter duplicity. They had lied to her about everything!!

Tessa is a captivating character. She is quirky, brassy, and takes charge on the outside, but underneath suffers from some self-esteem issues. Ty and Chase barge into her life, and she is head over heels before she even realizes what hit her. The steamy erotic scenes melt the pages, and the funny moments are a breath of fresh air.

Mixed bag
I was anxious to get into this book, because the reviews and product description were so good. Overall, I did enjoy the story, and there were some great sex scenes and even laugh out loud moments, but I was a little uncomfortable about the ending. Instead of just being dominant alpha males, I felt like the heroes wanted to totally change Tessa. They were drawn to her spunky personality and outspoken behavior when they met her, but by the end they seemed to want to reduce her to a child who totally bowed to them. I can handle a D/s story, but I want the leading lady to retain more of her personality.
