Loved the videos, the class and the books!5
The entire array of The Art of Exotic Dancing for Everyday Women products are amazing, fun, instructional and basically life changing. I have never felt better, more empowered, more sexy, more sensual or more confident in my whole life.
What started with a class has grown to a life style...
I am eternally grateful...and my husband thinks the gals in the book are HOT!

This book is an excellent companion to Stoffer's videos/dvds. It has good information and tips about the various dances presented and will probably most appeal to those who can learn routines easily from pictures. If you're just marginally interested in erotic dancing and don't want to make too much of an investment in it then this book is a good beginning. Of course, this book can't teach you everything, but I like this one for the tips it does offer.

Furthermore, let's not forget that "belly dancing" is erotic dancing. It's a sensuous, sexual dance whose purpose is to arouse and excite. Striptease and Lap dancing originated from this form of dancing and many of the movements used in what we now call "erotic dancing" are in fact belly dance movements. I'm always disappointed when belly dancers denounce striptease and strippers because actually we share movements from the same dance form. Yes, strippers have taken this form to new and different levels, but no matter what level the dance is taken to, the basic, shared movements remain.

Belly dancing IS NOT stripping!1
I have not read this book, but I'm insulted that Middle Eastern dance would be lumped in with lap dancing!
