Customer Reviews
Parent and Uncle of 11
I found this book very helpful and fun. The instructions suggested to do just one chapter at a time and the kids wanted to do more than that!
Therapist-for 20 years
I have used this book in group therapy and the kids love to role play with it. Also, in individual therapy the child usually wants to do more than one chapter (so, I must admit sometimes I cheat and do two!) I hope more of these workbooks are to come!
Students gravitate toward this book
As a music teacher for over 30 years, I have always sought ways to ensure that my musical instruction will complement and enhance my students' overall education & whole-child development. I purchased this book after noticing that some of my piano students were not always realistic about their successes and frustrations in studying piano. The book addresses these and other emotional issues in terms they can understand. I put a copy in the waiting room along with other books and magazines and am no longer surprised when I open the waiting room door to see a young student (or parent!) totally absorbed in it. It's not written for music study, of course, but healthy thinking affects all their studies.
