Average customer review:Product Description
Chris Kent knows and understands school boys, especially the English school boys whose lives are chronicled and massaged in the most intriguing way by this author with distinguished success in the genre. Chris Kent sets out to set the record straight (excuse the expression) about Tom Brown and what really happened during his school days (as Chris would see it). A parody to end all parodies of the English school boy traditions.

Review
Men will lust after boys because they are boys, not girls. That's the way life is. Love, not abuse. -- Forrest Lane
Some boys are just compelling sexual beings, no matter what your ultimate preference of sex partner, let's admit it. -- Bill Lee
About the Author
Chris Kent prefers to live a secluded but active life in the UK where most of his memories were born and still live, as in the school boys he writes about and understands.

Chris Kent Does It Again
Frankly, I am amazed that Chris Kent gets away with it but I'm glad he does. In the real Tom Brown's School Days, Kent has taken a timeless, classic English novel, which is frankly second-rate twaddle, and has reworked it into a page-turning experience that leaves you as breathless as most of the boys who appear in the book. Some readers will be put off and other turned on by the o-so-graphic sex, but there's far more to the book than sexual titillation - it's tale that manages to be poignant, moving, realistic, fantastical, incredible, unbelievable, and hugely entertaining. If the full-in-your-face sex is repreentative of life in English boarding schools then and now, I for one am sorry I went to a state day school! All I can say is that Chris Kent devotees will love Tom Brown, and new-comers to his work will be converted or disgusted in equal methods.
Hurrah for Tom Brown!
Hurrah for Chris Kent!
Hmmmm
I bought this book thinking I'd find some insight to English boarding school life ( even after reading tons of amazon reviews ) but in the end the book was simply too raw for my taste.
The real Tom Browns schooldays
A good read but I found the amount sexual activity was too much. enjoyable and funny. I found it to be too short and read it in one sitting. I enjoyed the story but it is not a book that one would read again and again. The activities were too unbelievable and the willingness of the children to partake in sexual activities was beyond belief
