Review
The third in this series is every bit as useful as the original two. (Those being on Mummification and Flogging by Joseph W Bean.) In "Rope Bondage: Precision and Persuasion With Rope," Scott Smith brings his demonstration skills to a studio audience and presents the finer arts.
This is the third in a series of rare products put out by this publisher. Each one is a gem. In this production, mountain rescue expert Scott Smith teaches basic knots (there is actually a special section for this with close-up photos), basic rigging hardware, and lots of safety techniques.
In addition, Scott talks about varieties of rope, different sorts of restraints and health/safety issues. The presentation is well rounded and entertaining. There are also a few bonus pages at the end of the book that present various knots and the methods to tie them.

Outstanding combination of book and DVD
This is the third in a series of rare products put out by this publisher. Each one is a gem. In this production, mountain rescue expert Scott Smith teaches basic knots (there is actually a special section for this with close-up photos), basic rigging hardware, and lots of safety techniques. Much of Scott's demonstration covers ways to do single-limb and double-limb restraints. All in all, this video and book has captured the core concepts of rope bondage and succeeded in presenting this material in a for that is easy to understand and follow.

The third in this series is every bit as useful as the original two. (Those being on Mummification and Flogging by Joseph W Bean.) In "Rope Bondage: Precision and Persuasion With Rope," Scott Smith brings his demonstration skills to a studio audience and presents the finer arts of making your playmates helpless. Scott is well known throughout the BDSM community for his presentations, and he gives clear and direct instructions in both the book and the recorded DVD session.
In addition, Scott talks about varieties of rope, different sorts of restraints and health/safety issues. The presentation is well rounded and entertaining. There are also a few bonus pages at the end of the book that present various knots and the methods to tie them along with accompanying photographs. They're just perfect for practice, especially if you long-ago lost your Boy Scout manual.
DVD region code!
Don't buy this DVD/book when you live outside the USA! This DVD has the dreaded region encoding and so is only playable for region 1. This is not displayed on the site and so I had to send it back, because the DVD won't play in my DVD-player here in Belgium.
