Great Info!
This is a great book for the total novice, informative, the basics are well covered to get you out on the water. I recommend this for anyone thinking of kayaking for the first time. It helped me!

Basic Kayaking Overview
Not a lot of detail here. A little short on the safety issues, to my liking, as well. Was looking for a book that could be used as a text for a summer camp kayak program and have dismissed this option. Great pictures, tho!
