Closer To Uncovering Madonna!4
This autobiography has much information that is a compliment to any Madonna book collector or reader. Despite its shortcomings, I find this synopsis of Madonna's life to be an enjoyment as well as a diversion. As I explain the reasons why I would recommend this book I can say I have every single biography book by Madonna ever written so I have much insight as to the information content and pros and cons.

Aside the errors in grammar and spelling, as I read the pages on this book one thing became apparent, Madonna is definitely a very loving individual not only as a Super Star but also as a role model for any young or middle aged woman or man. The pages of this book take you on her journey from rags to riches, from bad times to better moments, from love gone bad to a fairy tale wedding and much more. But some may wonder what makes this book worth buying? My answer is diversity. If you analyze every Madonna book written there is always a little bit more information not found in other books. I find that every time I read a Madonna book I am closer to discovering and uncovering who Madonna is. Of course, the challenge never ends. When Madonna writes her biography I am sure my unanswered questions will go answered. Either way let me get into the book basics briefly.

There are 16 black and white pictures toward the middle of the book from beginning times to the present. The chapters are very easy to read and not tiresome as compared to other books. It's short and precise. There is no discography or chart on music sales or album information. I picked up some errors in dates very apparent to any true Madonna fan so I'd be cautious about that when reading. The book goes in depth chapter by chapter on the trials of Madonna's life, the people she met along the way, her boyfriends, girlfriends, and family background. It mentions her roles on the movies as well as the relationships she has with numerous men. There are accounts of her liking to the British and even engagements to Prince Charles and Princess Diana. There's information of Rocco, Guy Ritchie, and Lourdes.

Overall, if you are extremely picky in what you read and in price you may want to skip this. But if you are passionate about learning more of Madonna then I would recommend this book. Of course, remembering nobody's perfect and the author made some errors in judgments, accounts, and dates. I really found this to be a good buy worth getting despite its drawbacks. It really gave me much more knowledge of the people she hung out with, the life she lived, the efforts she made, but most of all how her determination, perseverance, and dreams came true. That to me is an inspiration alone and a great reason to buy this book.
